Applies the basic principles and techniques in research, organization, and delivery of speeches for informative and persuasive speaking purposes. Provides practical platform experience in developing speaking abilities to enable the student to communicate orally in clear, coherent language appropriate to the purpose, occasion, and audience. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours).
