Catalog description

In this doctoral-level course, students design a capstone project that addresses a critical issue in social work practice, leadership, entrepreneurship, or education through a social justice lens. Emphasizing critical thinking, scholarly writing, and scientific inquiry, students conduct research-informed proposals and prepare for oral defenses. Through an iterative and collaborative process, learners integrate theory, evidence-based practice, and ethical considerations to develop projects that advance equity and innovation in social work.
