Catalog description

This course prepares doctoral students to design, deliver, and assess high-quality online learning experiences grounded in social work values. Emphasizing inclusive, evidence-based instructional practices, students will explore strategies for fostering engagement, accessibility, and equity in virtual learning environments. The course integrates best practices in course design, digital andragogy, and assessment, while addressing the unique needs of diverse learners. Through applied projects and collaborative reflection, students will critically examine the challenges and opportunities of online education and develop the skills to lead transformative teaching practices in social work education.
