This course equips doctoral students in social work with advanced knowledge and skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods. Emphasizing research design, data collection, ethical practice, and the interpretation of findings, the course prepares students to conduct rigorous, practice-informed research. Learners will critically evaluate diverse methodological approaches, explore their application to complex social issues, and generate research that informs social work policy, practice, and advocacy. Through analytical discourse and applied research activities, students will contribute to the advancement of evidence-based knowledge in the field.
