Catalog description
In this course, students will explore leadership and management theories to enhance social work practice in health and human service organizations and other social work settings. This course prepares students to understand their own sources of leadership, as well as evidence-based management practices to effectively respond to organizations’ current challenges and opportunities. Students will learn about executive leadership in social work, resource management practices, and strategic management. They will also demonstrate administrative skills for organizational growth and success and examine community collaboration.
