Catalog description
In this course, students will explore strategies to provide service to academically, socially, and emotionally diverse students within a school setting. Students will apply data analysis skills to examine qualitative and quantitative data to determine appropriate school-based interventions and practices. Students will practice engagement, assessment, intervention, and evaluation skills from a school social work perspective. Students will obtain the knowledge and skills to deliver services in a multi-tiered system that requires collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals within an educational setting.
