Advanced Generalist Practice II

Catalog description

The purpose of this course is for students to demonstrate advanced generalist practice skills focused on engaging, assessing, and intervening with individuals and families using a systemic therapy lens. This lens will include, but not be limited to, integrating intersectionality theory and contextual issues related to power, privilege, and oppression with client systems. This course also builds upon knowledge gained in SOWK 622 by furthering advanced self-reflection skills and assessing ethics and professional behavior in practice.
