Foundation of Systemic Practices

Catalog description

This course will explore the foundational structure of clinical systemic processes and underpinning assumptions. Students will analyze communication patterns uncovering covert messaging while assessing overt messages. Through examining traditional and contemporary familial interactive pattern of behaviors, students will critique the role of communication, power, and gender as they relate to the systemic paradigm.
