Developmental Psychology: Life Span

Catalog description

This course focuses on the cognitive, emotion, physical, environmental, genetic, and social aspects of human development f rom birth to death. Students will learn the major psychological perspectives and theories of human development f rom prenatal development and birth, infancy, early childhood, middle and late childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood to middle and late adulthood. Students explore topics such as family, heredity, race, ethnicity, gender, sex, and religion that form an overview of how human beings change over the course of their lifespan. This course is only offered through the School of Extended Education.
