Catalog description

Team-based organizations have been created to supplement the traditional, often rigid hierarchical structure within organizations to enhance leader effectiveness. Teams offer a more cooperative, collective philosophy. They outperform individuals; create more diverse, stimulating challenges; boost morale; and yield new skills for employees. This class will help students learn how to develop and participate in teams. Topics may include team development, conflict resolution, communication, decision-making, and reward systems.
