This course explores diversity in the U.S., examining race, ethnicity, and multiculturalism through historical and contemporary lenses. Topics include assimilation, dominant-minority relations, and the experiences of African Americans, Native Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, and immigrants. This course is only offered through the School of Extended Education.
