Catalog description

This course is designed for candidates to apply knowledge and skills in coaching, collaboration, consulting, and co-teaching in Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education. Students will practice shared decision making with service providers and families in implementing the Individualized Family Service Plan/Individualized Education Program. Students will demonstrate characteristics of lifelong learning including giving and receiving constructive feedback and self-reflection. Students will spend up to 25 hours engaged in field-based assignments.
