Foundations of Leadership in Early Childhood Settings

In this course, candidates will examine leadership in early care and education from both theoretical and practical perspectives. Students will learn about current thinking on leadership in early care and education, including leadership competencies. Students will have opportunities to integrate and analyze current leadership theories through individual and collaborative projects. Students will develop a personal purpose and a personal leadership development plan.
