Advanced Assessment and Program Evaluation in Special Education

Catalog description

Students will develop an understanding of the theory behind educational assessment and program evaluation. Application of non-biased assessment for pre-referral, screening, placement/eligibility, and progress monitoring for students with disabilities in general education and special education settings will also be a focus. Students will conduct special education program evaluation and assessment evaluation via appropriate research techniques.
