Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to create a foundational understanding of critical elements for effective leadership in special education. Issues of mentoring, social justice, and advocacy will be introduced and reviewed. Current research on effective leadership in special education will be used to assist in the creation of evidence-based curriculum and policy that addresses the needs of different groups. The foundation of a future action research project will be developed.
