Foundations of 21st Century Teaching

Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to create a foundational understanding of all that goes into being an effective teacher of online and blended learners. Relevant research into the pedagogy and andragogy of electronically mediated teaching and learning will be explored, examined, and applied to a variety of example situations. This work will empower students to craft a professional body of knowledge and skill necessary for facilitating learning in a 21st century learning environment.
