Catalog description

An examination of various educational philosophies, methods, patterns of control, financing, organization and relationships with the larger society in multiple countries of the world, including the United States, through the lens of equity and equality for all learners. Comparison and a comprehensive social science methodology is emphasized. Students examine historical, political, economic, and social factors from an international, national, and local perspective.
