Best Practices in Counseling

Catalog description

School counselor candidates will review the knowledge, skills, and standards of the graduate program in counseling in final preparation for their employment as school counselors. Candidates will prepare for the Praxis examination in school counseling, complete their program portfolios, and develop a capstone project as a part of this course. A minimum of 10 hours of field-based experience (e.g. simulations, video observations, case studies, etc.) are required.
