Practicum in Counseling and Intervention

Catalog description

This course provides opportunities for school counseling candidates to observe and examine intervention skills under close supervision. Candidates will analyze the knowledge and techniques learned in previous course work toward real world resolution of individual, group, and systems level problems. Sixty of the required 100 practicum fieldwork hours must be done in a variety of approved public schools under the guidance of credentialed school counselors.
