Catalog description

This is the introductory course to the graduate program in school psychology. It introduces candidates to the various roles of school psychologists have in the public schools, ethical and legal guidelines that shape the profession and emergent practices in assessment, crisis intervention, personal & social counseling, behavior management, consultation, and systems change. A minimum of 10 hours of field-based experience (e.g. simulations, video observations, case studies, etc.) are required.
