Catalog description

Focuses on leadership, professional development, and expert practice, which reflects the continuum of development expected of Doctors of Physical Therapy on entry to professional practice. The purpose of this course is to guide the transition of students into professional practice, leadership development, and autonomous practice. Emphasizes the emerging role of the physical therapist as an entry point to the health care system and practitioners of choice for neuromuscular health and wellness of individuals and communities across the life-span. Offered spring semester only. Prerequisites: PT 700 through 746, IPE 715, and IPE 716 and PT 800.
