Intensive study of learning, the learner, and the environment for learning. Special attention is given to the theoretical base of learning and relevant education research. The special needs and interests of the learner in nursing are analyzed, and unique features of the teaching environment in nursing are discussed. Techniques of measurement and evaluation are presented with opportunities for test construction, analysis, and evaluation.
