Catalog description
Prepares the student to perform a comprehensive health assessment of the adult client. Communication, documentation, ethical, spiritual, and cultural considerations, as well as risk related to environmental, genetic, and lifestyle factors are included. Course includes a laboratory component. Students must achieve a minimum grade of C+. Prerequisites: BIO 161, BIO 161L, BIO 162, BIO 162L, BIO 260, BIO 260L, CHM 125, CHM 125L, HPR 345, MA 132, PSY 110, and SOC 131 or SOC 121. A minimum grade of C is required in all prerequisite courses. Corequisite: NU 231.
