Catalog description
This course serves as an introduction to the professionalism and professional values of nursing. A historical perspective is used to provide background for subsequent study of contemporary nursing practice and research. Students must achieve a minimum grade of C+. Prerequisites: BIO 161, BIO 161L, BIO 162, BIO 162L, BIO 260, BIO 260L, CHM 125, CHM 125L, HPR 345, MA 132, PSY 110, and SOC 131 or SOC 121. A minimum grade of C is required in all prerequisite courses.
