Catalog description

A study of plane geometry based on Euclid's axioms, both with and without the parallel postulate. Includes formal study of the consequences of these axioms and algebraic models of both Euclidean and non-Euclidean systems. Offered fall semester of odd-numbered years only. Prerequisite: grade of C or better in MA 215 or MA 257.
