Catalog description

The course provides students with knowledge and experience with malware analysis techniques. This includes performing dynamic and static analysis and learning how to recognize common malware tactics. Students will also learn about tools and techniques for "runtime" analysis, debugging and disassembling malicious binaries and network traffic analysis. Students must achieve a minimum grade of C. Prerequisite: IT 205 with a grade of C or higher.
