Catalog description

An introduction to the concepts, methods, and applications of information technology (IT) project management as practiced by government and private industry. Students will become acquainted with the technique’s tools used to ensure that IT projects are completed on-time and within budget. The techniques include Agile methodologies including the role of the Scrum and DevOps. It also provides hands-on skills with the computer-based software tools used to maintain control of projects in development and operations. The course will also focus on the management, human and behavioral aspects of project management. Students must achieve a minimum grade of C.
