Catalog description

This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills required to understand today's cloud infrastructure and services. It focuses on the different types of cloud infrastructure and the key considerations in migrating from an on-premise information system to one that partly or fully uses cloud computing. The course covers the technologies and processes required to build traditional, virtualized, and cloud data center environments, including resources for computation, storage, networking, and applications. Effective migration to the cloud, business continuity, security, multi-cloud solutions, and cloud management are all covered. Students must achieve a minimum grade of C.
