Entrepreneurial Thinking

Catalog description

This course introduces students to entrepreneurial skills and the mindset to create and commercialize an innovation as an intrapreneur or an entrepreneur. It blends together the current body of knowledge, the instructor’s experience, outside speakers, relevant readings and videos, in class discussion, and real-world application to give students an appreciation of entrepreneurial behavior and how it converts an innovation into a product or service that is meaningful to a customer. This course covers the initial stages of entrepreneurship: ideation, opportunity assessment, and customer discovery (often referred to as going from “zero to one”).
