Catalog description

An examination of the philosophical and practical principles of sustainable design through exploration of environmental issues, sustainable materials and methods, and professional practice. Students will develop awareness of the implications of design decisions upon the environment and will gain a foundation for evaluation of materials, processes, and practices of design according to the principles of sustainable and environmentally responsible design. Prerequisite: junior status.
