Practicum

Catalog description

This course offers the student an opportunity to gain experience in a humanities-based institution in the Washington, DC, metropolitan region. All students will keep a journal of their on-site experiences and choose either to contribute in a substantial way to a major project at the institution or to produce a researched essay based on that experience. Each student will also be expected to present publicly on their experience. Prerequisites: completion of eight graduate courses.
