Catalog description

An in-depth study of professional development, including essential oral and written communication skills for individuals in the Health Sciences field. Includes the development of a resume, cover letter template, and a relevant social media profile, as well as job search, presentation, networking, leadership and interviewing skills. The course involves thoughtful self-assessment, career exploration, planning and follow-through with preliminary employment strategies, and a full spectrum of personal and professional competencies and skills designed to complement and supplement the student’s academic program. Prerequisite: Senior Standing.
