Catalog description
This course integrates theory and practice to develop a comprehensive understanding of the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating health fairs and public health promotion programs in schools, workplaces, health care organizations, and communities. Various approaches and real-world skills to reach diverse populations are investigated. Practical hands-on experience will be emphasized to promote engagement with the knowledge learned during the design and execution of a health fair. Prerequisite: HPR 215 with a minimum grade of C-.
