Catalog description

This course will analyze and address significant current healthcare policies within a historical context. Students have an opportunity to analyze and critique various policy scenarios within the US health care system. The course will also review major ethical and legal issues facing providers and organizations such as malpractice, provider liability and patient rights. Prerequisite or corequisite: HCM 510.
