Catalog description

This course will provide students with a detailed understanding of how to conduct research in the social sciences. Students will gain knowledge of how to operationally define a research question, apply various types of research design, address ethical issues that arise in research, and effectively critique published research. Additionally, students will gain an understanding of the relation between various research designs and statistical analysis to improve their ability to understand and apply published research.
