Catalog description
This course's goal is to help students make better personal financial decisions. Concepts covered include time value of money; organizing financial statements; and managing personal budgets, assets, liabilities, and insurance and retirement plans. Helps students develop a good understanding of personal financial planning and the functioning of financial markets as a whole. This course does not fulfill program requirements for B.B.A. students. Prerequisite: MA 121 or higher-numbered mathematics course.
