Catalog description

This course examines how schools are financed, including an analysis of the sources of revenue, the distribution of revenue, and the budgeting and expenditure of revenue. Special emphasis will be placed on education as an investment in human capital, and how funding relates to student achievement. Students will evaluate the use of resources (time, people, and facilities) to effectively impact student outcomes.
