Catalog description

This course provides insights into the application of data science to a variety of fields, including government, retail, intelligence, science, fraud detection, and social networks. Students will also practice data science techniques by applying their data analysis skills, either individually or in a group, to analyze a large data set selected by the professor. Students must achieve a minimum grade of C. Prerequisite: DATA 325 with a grade of C or higher.
