Current Topics in Data Science

Catalog description

This course presents emerging topics in the data science field and will vary from semester to semester. Planned topics include data mining; data visualization; and using mobile apps, social media, and sensors to collect data. The topics may be technical or data analytical in nature. Students must achieve a minimum grade of C. Prerequisite: varies with topic.
