Catalog description

Examines the professional identity of counselor educators and supervisors and provides an understanding of professional functioning in a variety of settings. Legal, ethical, and best practice issues encountered by professional counselors will be examined. Prerequisite: admission to the counselor education and supervision program. A minimum grade of B is required to advance in the program.
