Catalog description
This course provides an overview of counseling practices at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Focus is on facilitating the continuing advancement of professional knowledge and skills through the presentation of techniques and strategies for working with elementary, middle, and high school students in all areas of the school setting. A minimum grade of B is required to advance in the program. Offered spring semester only. Prerequisites: CE 560 and CE 522S. Corequisite: CE 597S.
