Catalog description
This course will emphasize advanced clinical theories and techniques in the counseling process, including issues of alienation, lack of effective coping skills, and interpersonal difficulties. The course will help the student understand his or her own reactions and attitudes toward the client, as well as the client's experiences during counseling, through the analysis and application of advanced theories and techniques from the counseling field. Corequisite: CE 599C. Prerequisite: CE 597C or CE 597S.
