Catalog description

An in-depth survey of the plant kingdom, including nonvascular as well as vascular plants. Some members of the kingdoms fungi and protista will also be covered. Topics covered will include photosynthesis, life cycles, growth and propagation, plant and hormone effects, classification and identification, and herbarium techniques. Prerequisite: BIO 151 or equivalent.
