Catalog description

The surgical sub-internship is a focused month designed to have students directly participate in the care of surgical patients; that is, initial evaluation, formulation of differential diagnoses, establishment of treatment plans and eventual daily care of the patient. Sudents will actively participate on rounds, daily care tasks, procedures and conferences.
