Explores the concepts of peace and nonviolence in the history of Catholicism, other Christian churches and world religions. Examines the ideas and practices found in the Hebrew scriptures, the New Testament, Gandhi and Hinduism and Buddhism. Covers topics such as just war, pacifism, nonviolent resistance and their spiritual foundations. Taught in an international setting by Marquette professors and where students earn Marquette credit.
