Catalog description

Introduces the field of applied psychology, with a focus on career exploration and development of professional skills necessary to succeed in the workplace. Introduces various applied areas of psychology. Readings, discussions and assignments focus on the development of interpersonal skills and competencies including professional ethics, problem solving, leadership, and the multicultural competencies to work in a diverse organization. Students practice developing effective communication skills through written reports, oral presentations and social media.
