Catalog description

Rooted in contemporary research and theory, this course will help students to explore the interplay between culture and youth development, including intersections with race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, immigration, parenting, schools, and mental health. Course content will emphasize the identification of cultural strengths and highlight the many systemic factors contributing to disparities among youth with minoritized identities.
