Catalog description

An introduction to methods of communication of research and scientific results. Students read, present, discuss and write overviews about important scientific results communicated through a variety of modes of communication, including but not limited to journal articles. Includes topics of general interest, breaking research and scientific ethics and may include required attendance at any department colloquia.
