Catalog description

Engages in critical examination of a number of 20th-century Anglo-American philosophers and philosophical movements. Movements considered include some of the following: "common sense" philosophy, logical atomism, logical positivism and ordinary language philosophy. Philosophers discussed may include: G.E. Moore, Bertrand Russell, Ludwig Wittgenstein, J.L. Austin, Elizabeth Anscombe, Willard Van Orman Quine, Thomas Nagel and Saul Kripke.
