Catalog description

Examines select issues and philosophers of the medieval period. Philosophers covered may include: Augustine, Boethius, Averroes, Avicenna, Maimonides, Anselm, Aquinas, Bonaventure, Scotus and Ockham. Topics discussed may include: free will, universals, the nature of the soul, proofs of the existence of God, and the relation between faith and reason.
